Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, organized an Awareness Lecture on Menstruation Hygiene Practices. The lecture was aimed to raise awareness and educated college girl students about the impact of unhygienic practices being followed during menstruation. College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal said that social awareness on such topics need to be prioritized for community health. He always guides and motivates teachers to indulge in social awareness issues. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Coordinator IQAC, informs that college prioritizes community health and education, ensuring everyone is informed and empowered. Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, Dean, life sciences said that such awareness lectures can boost confidence and self-esteem in girl students. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Heena Sachdeva and it emphasized on adopting good menstrual hygiene as it is vital to the empowerment and well-being of girls. The lecture was attended by 62 girl students at the college.
