Cyclothon and NCC Day Celebration

 

A Cyclothon was successfully conducted under the NCC Army wing units of the college 10 punjab battalion and 5 punjab battalion to promote fitness, environmental awareness, and the spirit of discipline among cadets.

The program commenced in the presence of chief guest commanding officer of 10 punjab battalion Col. Amitesh Verma, Principal of Multani Mal Modi College Dr. Neeraj Goyal, ANOs Lt. Nidhi Rani Gupta, Lt. Dr. Rohit Sachdeva. The event was formally flagged off by Chief Guest who hoisted the flag and signaled the beginning of the rally. More than 50 cadets from 10 PB and 5 PB Battalions actively participated, showcasing teamwork, energy, and commitment.

The Cyclothon proceeded till Fountain Chowk, Patiala, with cadets displaying great enthusiasm and discipline throughout.Ending with delicious refreshment .

After the completion of the Cyclothon, NCC Day Celebration was held on the college campus. NCC Day is celebrated to mark the establishment of the National Cadet Corps in 1948. NCC day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of November. On this event Various cultural performances, including group dance representing India’s diverse culture (Rajasthani, Uttrakhandi and Haryanvi) a mime on Incredible India highlighting the sacrifices of our brave heroes, Gatka, bhangra, speech and singing events were presented by the cadets with great zeal.

The event concluded successfully with appreciation from the ANOs and our Principal Sir for the cadets’ dedication, cooperation, and disciplined participation.
