The journey began on the night of March 28, as we departed from Patiala and traveled overnight to Jaipur, reaching the city on the morning of March 29. After checking into The Byke Resort and freshening up, the group embarked on a journey to Amber Fort, a magnificent structure showcasing the grandeur of Rajput architecture and military strategy. Students explored its intricately designed palaces gaining insights into the artistic and defensive brilliance of the Rajputs. Following this, we visited Jal Mahal, an architectural marvel floating in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, offering a mesmerizing view and an understanding of water conservation techniques used in ancient times. As the evening approached, the group visited Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village where students fully immersed themselves in Rajasthani traditions. They enjoyed folk dances, puppet shows, camel rides, and authentic Rajasthani cuisine, making it a memorable and culturally enriching experience.
The next day, March 30, began with a visit to Birla Temple and Moti Dungri Temple, where students learned about the religious and spiritual significance of these sacred places. The journey continued to the Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace with 953 small windows, designed to allow airflow and keep the interiors cool. This visit provided an insight into the architectural brilliance of Jaipur’s royal era. The group then explored Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, where students were amazed by the scientific precision of early Indian astronomy. The tour of Jaipur concluded with a visit to the City Palace, which houses a museum displaying royal artifacts, textiles, and weapons, offering a glimpse into the life of Jaipur’s kings. Before heading back to the hotel, students enjoyed shopping at Bapu Bazaar, where they purchased traditional Rajasthani outfits, handicrafts, and souvenirs. The day ended on a high note with a DJ Night, where students danced and celebrated their experiences so far.
On March 31, the group set off for Kishangarh, a city known for its scenic beauty and rich artistic heritage. Students enjoyed photography sessions, capturing the breathtaking landscapes and marble-rich surroundings. From Kishangarh, we traveled to Pushkar, home to the famous Brahma Temple, one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma. Students gained knowledge about the mythological and religious significance of the temple while experiencing the serene atmosphere of the holy town. The adventure continued with an exhilarating jeep safari and camel ride in the golden sands of Pushkar, allowing students to embrace the thrill of desert life. Later in the evening, the group visited the Salasar Hanuman Temple, a renowned pilgrimage site where students observed traditional Hindu rituals and practices.
As the tour came to an end, we had dinner and began our return journey to Patiala, reaching back on April 1, 2025.
