Multani Mal Modi College organizes a two-day Commerce Fest to drive innovation and student talent

The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce at Multani Mal Modi College successfully concluded its two-day annual Commerce Fest today. Designed to highlight recent transformations in global trade markets, digital business, and corporate finance, the event provided an interactive platform for students to demonstrate creative talents, technical skills, and entrepreneurial leadership.

College principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal congratulated the Commerce Department and said that in the evolving landscape of modern business education and today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, commerce plays a vital role in shaping the global economy. He highlighted that it is essential for students to stay ahead of the curve and acquire practical, industry-relevant skills.

Prof. Parminder Kaur, Head of the Commerce Department, appreciated the high quality of student entries for competitions, noting that blending analytical commerce expertise with creative vision is vital for sustained professional growth. She said that this festival has provided a dynamic environment to foster confidence and adaptability.

During the competitions, in the Documentary Film Making (Docufest) event, the duo of Guransh Singh and Simarjot Singh won the first prize, followed by Mukti Malik with second position. The Ad-Mad Show highlighted strategic advertising creativity in which the first position was secured by the team of Guransh Singh, Simarjot Singh, Naman Gupta, and Shivam Goel.

The visual and fine arts categories saw enthusiastic participation across multiple artistic disciplines. In Poster Making (Dreams on Canvas), Khushpreet Kaur and Bhavik Garg shared first place while Rishicta and Simarpreet Kaur stood second. In the collage and written art events, students demonstrated exceptional critical thinking and design skills. In College Making (Mix & Match), the first position was won by Jasnoorpreet Kaur with Mukti in second position. In Slogan Writing (Catchy Lines), Diljeet Kaur was in the first position, followed by Jyoti Kumari in the second place.

At this event, in the solo performance competition, Harshita got first place, and Husnpreet Kaur and Kushi got second place. In the group performance competition, Amandeep Kaur and Praneet Kaur’s team got first place, while Harmanjot Kaur, Kunjaljot Kaur, Tanisha, and Husndip Kaur got second place.

The Melody Marathon (Singing) competition provided a platform for students to display vocal talents across pitch, musicality, and stage presence. The first position was begged by Lavanya and Navdeep Kaur, while Raminder Pal and Deepanshu stood second.

Simultaneously, the Treasure Hunt brought out strategic problem-solving and collaboration among participating student teams. The first position in this competition was begged by the team of Guransh Singh and Ansh Bansal.

The event was successfully planned, and stage proceedings were coordinated by students Mukti and Diya Singla with the support of faculty members Dr. Deepika Singla, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Prof. Paramjit Kaur, Prof. Harsimran Kaur, Prof. Diksha, Prof. Daljeet Kaur, Prof. Manjot Kaur, Prof. Parneet Kaur, Prof. Taneesha, Prof. Sachin Jindal, Prof. Munish Gupta, Dr. Jagmohan Singh, and Prof. Annapurna Magadum.

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟ-ਗਰੈਜੁਏਟ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਦੋ-ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਫੈਸਟ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਪੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗਭੱਗ200 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਗਲੋਬਲ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ, ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਵਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ, ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਹੁਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਟਰਐਕਟਿਵ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਸਟੇਜੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਅਿਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਸੋਲੋ ਡਾਂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਸਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਦੁਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ੍ਹ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਡਾਂਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਰਮਨਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ, ਕੁਜਲਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ, ਤਨੀਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਸਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਂਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਮੈਲੋਡੀ ਮੈਰਾਥਨ (ਗਾਇਨ) ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਚ, ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੇਜ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਪਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਰਹੇ।
