M M Modi College releases Golden Jubilee Year prospectus
The Prospectus of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala for the session 2016-17 was released here today by Prof. Surindra Lal, Member, College Managing Committee. Speaking on the occasion College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar said that this prospectus, apart from providing detailed information about the Undergraduate and PG Courses run by the College, includes the vision and the direction which Chairman of the Managing Committee, Seth Sudarshan Kumar Modi has for the coming year. He also told that Academic and Co-academic Calendar published in the Prospectus will keep the students fully informed about various activities planned for the coming session. He said that the college has introduced Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Software Development and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Industrial Waste Treatment Technology Courses under the National Skill Development Scheme of Govt. of India. He further shared that soft copy of the college prospectus will be available for downloading on the website of the college.
Prof. Nirmal Singh, Prof. (Mrs.) Poonam Malhotra, Prof. Sharwan Kumar and Dr. Harcharan Singh were also present on the occasion.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ 2016-17 ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਂਕਟਸ ਅੱਜ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰਾ ਲਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਥੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਅੰਡਰ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸੇਠ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਂਕਟਸ ਵਿਚ ਛਪੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਤੇ ਸਹਿ-ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਕਲੰਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਕੌਮੀ ਕੌਸ਼ਲ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਆਫ਼ ਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਬੀ.ਵੋਕ.) ਇਨ ਸਾਫ਼ਟਵੇਅਰ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਆਫ਼ ਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਬੀ.ਵੋਕ.) ਇਨ ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀਅਲ ਵੇਸਟ ਟਰੀਟਮੈਂਟ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਦੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੁਨਰਮੰਦ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਂਕਟਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਫ਼ਟ ਕਾਪੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵੈਬਸਾਈਟ ਤੋਂ ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪੂਨਮ ਮਲਹੋਤਰਾ, ਪੋz. ਸ਼ਰਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
