The Governor of Punjab, Sh. Ghulab Chand Kataria honored Multani Mal Modi College with First Award for Maximum Contribution to Youth Red Cross Fund

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, has been honored with the first place award by His Excellency, Sh. Ghulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab, for its outstanding contribution to the Youth Red Cross Fund. The award was presented during the Annual General Meeting of the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, held at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh.
The college’s significant contribution to the Youth Red Cross Fund is a testament to its commitment to social service and humanitarian causes. The award recognizes the college’s efforts in promoting the ideals of the Red Cross and its dedication to serving the community. Seth Tarun Kumar Modi, Chairman Modi Educational Society, expressed his gratitude for the award. “This award is a validation of the college’s commitment to social service and its dedication to the ideals of the Red Cross. We will continue to work towards promoting humanitarian values and serving the community.” Prof. Surinder lal, member of the Management Committee of the college said that our college is committed for serving the marginalized and deprived sections of the society without any discrimination
Dr. Neeraj Goyal, Principal of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, received the award on behalf of the college. “We are honored to receive this prestigious award from the Governor of Punjab,” said Dr. Goyal. “This recognition motivates us to continue our efforts in promoting social service and humanitarian values among our students and the community.”
The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, recognized the college’s contribution to the Youth Red Cross Fund, which is used to support various humanitarian projects and initiatives across the state.

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ ਯੂਥ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਫੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਭਵਨ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਯੂਥ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਫੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਵਤਾਵਾਦੀ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਇਸਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਇਸਦੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੇਠ. ਤਰੁਣ ਮੋਦੀ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਮੋਦੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਇਸਦੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਿਕਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਮਾਨਵੀ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗੇ।” ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ. ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਲਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਹਾਸ਼ੀਏ ‘ਤੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡਾ. ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਇਹ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਵਤਾਵਾਦੀ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਨੇ ਯੂਥ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਫੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਫੰਡ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਾਨਵਤਾਵਾਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਧੰਨਵਾਦੀ ਹੈ।
