M M Modi College bags third position in the Annual Function of Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab
Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala bagged third position at distribution of awards function during Annual General Meeting of Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Sector 46, Chandigarh. The College secured third position for Fund raising (Share) of Red Cross for the session 2016-17. Sh. V. P. Badnore, Honourable Governor of Punjab felicitated the College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar by presenting the trophy and appreciation certificate for the service to the Red Cross Society. The college received this honour consecutively for the second year. The college principal said that in coming years the college will try to raise more funds for Red Cross Society, so it can be used for the welfare of needy and poor.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ
ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਮਿਤੀ 8 ਜੂਨ, 2018 ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਰਾਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 26, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਫੰਕਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਵੀ.ਪੀ. ਬਦਨੋਰ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲ 2016-17 ਲਈ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਲਈ ਸਨਮਾਣਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਟ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਥੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਵਰਨਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਨਮਾਣ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧ ਫੰਡ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਰੈਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਪਯੋਗ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
