Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organized One Day NSS Camp at Govt. High School, Gandhi Nagar, Patiala

The NSS Volunteers of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, organized a one-day NSS camp on Health and Hygiene for the students of Government High School, Gandhi Nagar, Patiala. The awareness program was motivated and supported by the college Principal, Dr. Neeraj Goyal, who emphasized the importance of social work and service to society. He highlighted the essence of the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” encouraging students to dedicate time in helping and uplifting society. Dr. Neeraj Goyal’s guidance served as a source of inspiration and empowerment for the youth.
Under the able leadership of Dr. Rajeev Sharma and Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, the camp focused on educating school students about Health, Sanitation, and Hygiene, fostering an understanding of the importance of personal health and hygiene for building a healthier young today and a healthier nation tomorrow.
The enthusiastic NSS volunteers Pallavi Thakkar, Noorpreet Kaur, Arvinder Kaur, Radhika, Kashish, Pankaj, Vishal of M.Sc. – I (Chemistry) Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala engaged students in insightful sessions on health and hygiene, raising awareness about the dangers of Drug Abuse and the pressures of peer influence. They also conducted blood tests to identify blood groups and measured height, weight, and BMI, providing a detailed health report for each student.
The program received strong support from Principal Smt. Neelam including whole school staff whose cooperation helped ensure the event’s success. The school staff and students actively participated and expressed their gratitude toward the college professors and volunteers for their valuable contribution to society.
The event created a ripple of positive impact, bringing a sense of fulfillment and motivation to Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, and the NSS volunteers. The visit was a small step toward a larger goal — empowering young minds to adopt healthier lifestyles and become agents of positive change in society.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ NSS ਦੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ, ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨਗਰ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਇਕ ਕੈੰਪ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਤ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ NSS ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ “ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ”, ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਤੇ ਮਦਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਡਾ. ਰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਤੇ ਡਾ.ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੇਠ, ਇਹ ਕੈੰਪ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤ, ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ, ਨਿਜੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦੇ ਮਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਜਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਕਲ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।
NSS ਦੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਪੱਲਵੀ ਠੱਕਰ, ਨੂਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਰਾਧਿਕਾ, ਕਸ਼ਿਸ਼, ਪੰਕਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਨੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮਝਦਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ੍ਹਿਆ, ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ।ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਬਚੇ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਓਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਲੱਡ ਗਰੁੱਪ, ਲੰਬਾਈ, ਭਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ. ਐਮ. ਆਈ. ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ. ਨੀਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਸਕਿਆ। ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਤੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਹ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ.ਰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ.ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਤੇ NSS ਦੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਬਣੀ। ਇਹ ਫੇਰੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਜੇਹਾ ਕਦਮ ਸੀ – ਜਿਸਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਬਦਲਾਵ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੁਖਤਿਆਰ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
