Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Government Rajindra Medical College and Hospital, Patiala

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Government Rajindra Medical College and Hospital, Patiala. The camp was organized by the NSS, NCC wings and the Red Ribbon Club of the college to promote the concept of ‘Khoondaan–Mahadaan’ and to fulfil the emergency demand of blood in the blood bank. During the blood donation camp, 53 units of blood were collected.

College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal welcomed the medical team to the college campus and motivated the students to come forward for this noble cause of blood donation. He said that Modi College is committed to the service of society and the welfare of the public.

The medical team was led by Dr. Maryada and Mr. Sukhwinder Singh along with their team. The NSS team, led by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dr. Davinder Singh and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, played a significant role in the organization of the camp. The NCC team, led by Flying Officer Dr. Sumeet Kumar, Dr. Rohit Sachdeva and Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta, also motivated the students to participate in the camp.

Among the faculty members, Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, Dr. Varun Jain and Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, and among the non-teaching staff, Sh. Jacky, Sh. Binder and Sh. Jagmeet Singh also donated blood.

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਖ਼ੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ, ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਵਿੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੁਆਰਾ ‘ਖ਼ੂਨਦਾਨ-ਮਹਾਂ ਦਾਨ’ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਦਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੂਨਿਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਧਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਖ਼ੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ 53 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਖ਼ੂਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ੂਨ-ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਨ-ਮਾਨਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਡਾ. ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਾ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਐਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਲੈਫ਼ਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੈਫ਼ਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਖ਼ੂਨਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ, ਡਾ. ਵਰੁਨ ਜੈਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੈਕੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਿੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਖ਼ੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
