Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala celebrated 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and fervour

Multani Mal Modi College, in collaboration with the 5 Pb Bn, Patiala, 4 Pb Bn, Patiala and 3 Pb Air Sqn, Patiala, celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India with profound reverence and exuberance.
The celebration commenced with the esteemed principal, Dr. Neeraj Goyal, ceremoniously unfurling the national flag, a gesture that paid homage to the valiant martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s freedom struggle. In his address, Dr. Goyal urged the students to devote themselves to the ideals of national progress, peace, and communal harmony, reinforcing their collective responsibility in shaping the future of the nation.
A meticulously executed guard of honour was presented during the march past, conducted by the cadets from the Army and Air wings, a vivid display of discipline and unwavering patriotism. The distinguished gathering was graced by the presence of the NCC Officers (ANOs): Lt. Dr. Rohit Sachdeva from 5 Pb Bn, Flying Officer Dr. Sumeet Kumar from the 3rd Pb Air Squadron, along with eminent faculty members, Dr. Harmohan Sharma, Dr. Ganesh Sethi, Dr. Varun Jain, Dr. Ashwani Sharma (Former Professor, Department of Botany) Mr. Ajay Gupta, Mr. Jaswinder Singh and other non-teaching staff, each contributing to the success and celebration of this momentous occasion.
Throughout the event, cadets Anchal, Jaskaran, Parniti, Abhitej, Shubhangini, Dikshit, Raman, Saksham, Gunawari, Deepanshi showcased a variety of captivating performances, each crafted to honour the significance of this auspicious day, thereby adding a rich cultural dimension to the celebration. Despite the biting cold that enveloped the morning, the determination and spirit of the cadets illuminated the event.
The formal proceedings concluded with the rendition of the NCC song and the national anthem, resplendently performed by the cadets. As a token of appreciation for the cadets’ unwavering dedication, the college hosted a breakfast, further nurturing the spirit of camaraderie among all present. The event resonated with patriotic fervour, concluding with spirited war cries of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” which echoed throughout the college campus, embodying the collective zeal of the community. Every logistical aspect of the celebration was coordinated with diligence by the college ANO under the judicious leadership of the Principal, ensuring a memorable and impactful observance of this revered national day.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ 76ਵਾਂ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਬੜੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ 5 ਪੀ.ਬੀ. ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, 4 ਪੀ.ਬੀ. ਬਟਾਲਿਅਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਅਤੇ 3 ਪੀ.ਬੀ. ਏਅਰ ਸਕਵਾਰਡਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਪੂਰਣ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਫਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਬੱਧਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸੈਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਕੈਂਡਿਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਚ ਪਾਸਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸੁਚਜਿਤ ਗਾਰਡ ਆਫ਼ ਓਨਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜ਼ੋ ਕਿ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਅਫ਼ਸਰ (ਐਨ ਓ) ਲੈਫਟਿਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ, 5 ਪੀ.ਬੀ. ਬਟਾਲਿਅਨ ਤੋਂ, ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ 3 ਪੀ. ਬੀ. ਏਅਰ ਸਕਵਾਰਡਨ ਤੋਂ, ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਡਾ. ਹਰਮੋਹਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਸੇਠੀ, ਡਾ. ਵਰੁਣ ਜੈਨ, ਡਾ. ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਅਧਿਆਪਣ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ।
ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੈਡਿਟ ਆਂਚਲ, ਜ਼ਸਕਰਨ, ਪਰਨਿਤੀ, ਅਭਿਤੇਜ਼, ਸ਼ੁਭਾਂਗਿਨੀ, ਦਿਕਸ਼ਿਤ, ਰਮਨ, ਸਕਸ਼ਮ, ਗੁਨਵਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਪਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ। ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਡ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਜ਼ਬੇ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਚੰਦ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗਾਨ ਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਗੋਇਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬ੍ਰੇਕਫਾਸਟ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੀ ਜੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਦੇ ਮਾਤਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਅਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੀ ਆਯੋਜਨਾ ਐਨ.ਓ. ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਮਾਹਰ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਉਣਾ ਯਕੀਤੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
