Dr. Akshita Dhaliwal of Modi College gets a Patent for ‘Plant Growth Detection Device’

Dr. Akshita Dhaliwal, Assistant Professor in Botany from Multani Mal Modi College Patiala, has been granted a Plant Growth Detection Device Patent. This design is registered with the Patent Office, Government of India to ensure its uniqueness and protection under intellectual property rights.
College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal congratulated Dr. Akshita Dhaliwal on this achievement and said that Modi College is committed to research and innovation in Scientific and technical fields for the welfare of society and the nation.
Dr. Dhaliwal said that our patented design showcases A Plant Growth Detection Device designed to monitor and analyze the growth patterns of plants in real-time. This device uses advanced sensors and machine learning algorithms to measure parameters, such as height, leaf area, and biomass. The collected data will be processed to provide accurate growth metrics, enabling early detection of abnormalities, optimizing water and nutrient use, and improving crop yield. With its user-friendly interface and integration with IoT, this device offers a scalable solution for precision agriculture, enhancing the efficiency of plant cultivation and contributing to sustainable farming practices.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ਸਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਡਾ: ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ‘ਪਲਾਂਟ ਗਰੋਥ ਡਿਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ’ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਲਈ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਗਰਾਂਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਖੋਜ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਕੋਲ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਇਸਦੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪਿ੍ੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ: ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਡਾ: ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। | ਡਾ. ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਇੱਕ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਗਰੋਥ ਡਿਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਯੰਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਟਰਨ ਦੀ ਰੀਅਲ-ਟਾਈਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ ਉਚਾਈ, ਪੱਤਾ ਖੇਤਰ, ਅਤੇ ਬਾਇਓਮਾਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਾਪਦੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪਣ ਲਈ ਉੱਨਤ ਸੈਂਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਐਲਗੋਰਿਦਮ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਡੇਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ, ਅਸਧਾਰਨਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਲਦੀ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ, ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਸ਼ਟਿਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਫਸਲ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੇ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ-ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਇੰਟਰਫੇਸ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਆਫ ਥਿੰਗਸ (IoT) ਨਾਲ ਏਕੀਕਰਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਇਹ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਖੇਤੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਪਯੋਗ ਹੱਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਦੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਖੇਤੀ ਅਭਿਆਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖੋਜ ਸਾਡੀ ਟੀਮ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਡਾ: ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
