10-Day Workshop on Modern Techniques in Science

Department of Biological Sciences, M.M.Modi College, Patiala has organized a 10-Day Workshop on Modern Techniques in Sciences from 11th to 20th July, 2016 for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Sciences. The valedictory session of the workshop was held on Wednesday where students were awarded certificates of participation.

Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and Dean, Biological Sciences, Dr. Ashwani K. Sharma addressed the students and congratulated the faculty of Biological Sciences for their tireless efforts and appreciated the broad range of techniques taught during the workshop spread over five modules. Feedback was given by student representatives, while thanking the college authorities and shown their willingness to participate in such events in future also. Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, Head, Department of Biotechnology, thanked the Principal and the whole team for their support and contribution. He said that such type of workshops will continue to be held by the Department which will cater to the research needs of the students in basic and applied science fields.
