GOVERNMENT SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS EXPLORE FASHION DESIGNING AT MULTANI MAL MODI COLLEGE, PATIALA

Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala’s Department of Fashion Designing played host to 65 students and 4 faculty members from Sarkari Senior Secondary School, Jai Singh Wala, Bathinda, for an enlightening educational visit. This visit aimed to introduce students to the academic and creative environment of the department, providing them with a unique opportunity to observe facilities, interact with faculty members, and gain insights into the scope and career opportunities within the field of fashion designing.
During the visit, students were immersed in the department’s facilities and they learned about the various aspects of fashion design, from conceptualization to execution. This experience is designed to offer practical exposure beyond classroom learning, encouraging students to consider fashion designing as a potential career path.
“We are thrilled to welcome these talented students to our department,” said Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal. “This visit not only showcases our facilities but also opens doors to new possibilities in fashion designing. We believe in nurturing creativity and providing opportunities for students to explore their passions.”

This visit underscores the college’s dedication to educational outreach and collaboration, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. The faculty members Ms Raman Sidhu, Mr. Karamveer Singh, Rupesh Kumar and Manisha Goyal were present during this event.

ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ, ਜੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਲਾ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ 65 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 4 ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕਰਨ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ। ਇਹ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਲਾਸਰੂਮ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਐਕਸਪੋਜ਼ਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਮਾਰਗ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।
ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ “ਅਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।ਇਹ ਦੌਰਾ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਲਕਿ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਵੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”
“ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ; ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ,” ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਵੀਨੂ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ। “ਅਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਸਦਾ ਹਾਜ਼ਿਰ ਹਾਂ।”
ਇਹ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਨ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕਰਮਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਰੂਪੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਨੀਸ਼ਾ ਗੋਇਲ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
