Fashion Designing Students of Multani Mal Modi College dazzle at “Sanskriti se Sanskaar” Event by Asian Contour

A team of 12 students from the Department of Fashion Designing, Multani Mal Modi College Patiala, under the guidance of Dr. Sumeet Kumar, flying officer and Associate Professor, Computer Science Department and Dr. Veenu Jain, Assistant Professor and Head of Fashion Designing Department recently participated in the prestigious fashion event “Sanskriti se Sanskaar” organized by Asian Contour at Dehradun, Uttrakhand.
The event, presided over by renowned Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood, provided a platform for emerging designers to showcase their creativity and technical expertise. The team’s participation demonstrated the department’s commitment to fostering innovative talent and providing students with opportunities to excel in the fashion industry. In this event the Department was also awarded a trophy by Mr. Sonu Sood for its contribution in fashion industry
Dr. Neeraj Goyal, Principal of Multani Mal Modi College Patiala, expressed his pride and appreciation for the students’ achievement, stating, “I congratulate the students and faculty of the Fashion Designing Department for their outstanding performance at the ‘Sanskriti se Sanskaar’ event. Their creativity, hard work, and dedication are truly commendable, and I look forward to seeing them excel in their future endeavors.”
During the event, the students presented their designs through a captivating fashion show, featuring intricate garments, accessories, and themes that highlighted their artistic and technical prowess. The students also actively participated in various activities, including ramp walk, styling, and backstage management, showcasing their versatility and professionalism. The students were guided and supervised during the event by Prof. Abhineet kaur, Prof. Ramit and Prof. Rahul.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ 12 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਵੀਨੂ ਜੈਨ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਕੰਟੂਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦੇਹਰਾਦੂਨ, ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਈਵੈਂਟ “ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਸੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ” ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।
ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੋਨੂੰ ਸੂਦ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੇ ਉੱਭਰ ਰਹੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮੌਕਾ ਪਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਨੂੰ ਸੂਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਸੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ’ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕਤਾ, ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਨਮੋਹਕ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੰਝਲਦਾਰ ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਥੀਮ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਲਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੈਂਪ ਵਾਕ, ਸਟਾਈਲਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਕਸਟੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਹੁਨਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਭਿਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਮਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਾਹੁਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
