Modi College Students performed in Bhangra and Group Song at Craft Mela 2019
Students of Bhangra Team and Group Song Team of M M Modi College, Patiala participated in Bhangra and Group Song performances at held at Craft Mela – 2019 held at Sheesh Mehal, Patiala on 2nd March, 2019. Bhangra team secured 2nd position in this competition. The event was organized by Cultural Department of Punjab Govt. in co-ordination with Indian Trust for Rural Heritage & Development on the occasion of 7th Patiala Heritage Festival-2019. The performances were conducted under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Habib (Group Song) and Prof. Gurpreet Singh (Bhangra).
Dr Khushvinder Kumar, Principal of the college congratulated the students and motivated them for further participation in such events. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr Baljinder Kaur (Dean, Co-curricular), Prof. Mohammad Habib and Prof. Gurpreet Singh for dedicated efforts in guiding the students for the event.
