Cultural team of Modi College presented a play at Punjabi Month 2021 Programme by Bhasha Vibhag Punjab
The Cultural team of Multani Mal Modi College participated and presented a play ‘Ikko Raah Swaldaa’ penned down by Dr Sahib Singh at Open Air Theatre, Bhasha Vibhag under the series of cultural activities organised to mark the ‘Punjabi Month -2021’.The programme was presided over by Smt. Parminderpal Kaur, Director, ‘Kalakriti ‘ and Chief guest was renowed playwrite Dr.Satish Kumar Verma. Dr.Khushvinder Kumar, principal Multani Mal Modi College and artist Harjeet Kaithi were special invitee in this programme.
The enacted play in this event was focussed on the issues of migration, the agricultural crisis of Punjab and the problems of the youth. Smt. Parminderpal Kaur and Dr.Satish Kumar Verma appreciated the plot and characterization of this play and appreciated the effort of Multani Mal Modi College for timely intervention through such powerful cultural message on political and social system of contemporary Punjab. Dr. Khushvinder Kumar also appreciated the team Incharge Dr.Devinder Singh and team members to bring alive the realities and tragedies of our times by the artists on the stage. The members of Bhand team Kamaldeep Singh and Harminder Singh also presented some satirical comments on our political and social systems. The members of the cultural team including Ekta, Kamaldeep Singh,Gaurav gupta, Palak Bhardwaj, Smiridhi, Kartik, Azaad, Anmol and Harpinder Singh were appreciated for their acting skills by the audience.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਹ-2021 ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਇੱਕੋ ਰਾਹ ਸਵੱਲੜਾ’ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ
ਸਥਾਨਿਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋ ਮਨਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਾਹ-2021’ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਨਾਟਕਕਾਰ ਡਾ.ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖੇ ਨਾਟਕ ‘ਇੱਕੋ ਰਾਹ ਸਵੱਲੜਾ’ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ‘ਕਲਾਕਿਤੀ’ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਿਜ਼ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ-ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਨਾਟਕਕਾਰ ਡਾ.ਸ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਵਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਖਾਸ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੇ ਰੰਗਕਰਮੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ. ਹਰਜੀਤ ਕੈਂਥ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਪਰਵਾਸ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਗੜ ਰਹੀ ਵਿਆਕਰਣ ਸਨ।ਇਸ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਮਿਸ਼ਿਜ਼ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਡਾ.ਸ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ, ਪਾਤਰ ਚਿਤਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਲਈ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਰ ਹੈ।ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ. ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਾਟਕ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਦੀ ਸਚਾਈ ਤੇ ਤਰਾਸਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਲਾਤਮਿਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਿਤਰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਭੰਡ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਕਮਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਟਵਾਂ ਵਿਅੰਗ ਕੀਤਾ।ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਏਕਤਾ, ਕਮਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੌਰਵ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਪਲਕ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ, ਸਮਿੱਰਿੱਥੀ, ਕਾਰਤਿਕ, ਆਜ਼ਾਦ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਨ।
