Modi College wins Luminanz- 2023 at GGSW University

Students of Modi College participated in the ‘Luminanz- 2023’ organized by Department of Commerce and Management Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib and won the overall trophy.
College principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the Department of Commerce and the winners of various events. Prof. Neena Sareen, Head of Commerce Department told that this event comprised various competitions like Educational Quiz, Extempore Speaking, Documentary Presentation, Ad Mad Show, Rangoli, On the Spot landscaping and Clay Modeling. First Prize in Extempore Speaking won by Naunidh Marya of B.com II. First prize in Documentary bagged by Yash of B.Com-I. First prize in On the spot landscaping competition was won by Simran of BA III. In Clay Modeling, Gurmukh Singh of B.com II got second position. In Ad Mad Show, Dilpreet, Pawitra Sen, Khushpreet Kaur, Jasleen Kaur and Preet Sharma got second position. In Educational Quiz, Parth, Harsh and Manya secured third position.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਰਲਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਫਤਹਿਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ‘ਲੂਮਿਨਾਜ਼–2023’ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਜਿੱਤੀ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨੀਨਾ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਕੁਇਜ਼, ਐਕਸਟੈਂਪੋਰ ਸਪੀਕਿੰਗ, ਡਾਕੂਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ, ਐNਡ ਮੈਡ ਸ਼ੋਅ, ਰੰਗੋਲੀ, ਆਨ ਦਾ ਸਪਾਟ ਲੈਂਡਸਕੇਪਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਲੇ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਨੌਨਿਧ ਮਰਿਆ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਡਾਕੂਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਬੀ. ਕਾਮ ਦੇ ਯਸ਼ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਆਨ ਦਾ ਸਪਾਟ ਲੈਂਡਸਕੇਪਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਤੀਜਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਕਲੇਅ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਐਡ ਮੈਡ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਪਵਿਤਰ ਸੇਨ, ਖੁਸ਼ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਜਸਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਥ, ਹਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
