INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO KANDHARI BEVERAGES PVT. LTD.

The Training and Placement Cell in collaboration with the Department of Commerce organized an industrial visit to Kandhari Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Fatehgarh Sahib, on 29th October 2025. As many as 88 students accompanied by faculty members, visited the manufacturing unit to gain practical knowledge about the beverage production process and corporate functioning.
Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal appreciated the efforts of the concerned departments for arranging such visits which will be helpful in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial application.
The visit began with a warm welcome by the company’s representatives, followed by an introductory session about the history, product range, and market presence of Kandhari Beverages. The company is well-known for manufacturing and bottling carbonated soft drinks and packaged water for reputed brands.
During the plant tour, students learned about various stages of the cold drink manufacturing process, including Water Purification, Syrup Preparation, and Filling and Packaging.
The students were particularly impressed by the automation and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards maintained throughout the facility. The company representatives also explained the importance of sustainable practices, emphasizing water management and waste recycling initiatives.
Prof. Parminder Kaur, Convenor, Training and Placement Cell, and Head, Department of Commerce said that he visit proved to be an enriching experience for the students as it provided valuable insights into production management, quality control, and marketing strategies within the FMCG sector.
