Thirteen students of Multani Mal Modi College participated in an inter-college Chemistry Festival organized by the Department of Chemistry, Government Ranbir College, Sangrur on 24th March, 2023 and won prizes in various competitions.
Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, College Principal congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to participate in such events for their overall personality development.
Dr. Rajeev Sharma said that such Innovative platforms are crucial for bringing out the potential and critical thinking skills of the students.
In these competitions first position in static model was won by Noorpreet Kaur and Arvinder Kaur of BSc Medical second year while Angelina and Prachi stood first in working model. Isha Rani of BSc Non-Med III year stood first in Poem Recitation. Sukhdev Kaur of BSc Non-Med first year won 3rd position in Poster Making. Kshitij Sharma and Rahul Dubey of MSc Chemistry and Noorpreet Kaur of BSc Medical Second year got 3rd position in Quiz. Two more students Muskan Garg and Sapna Sharma of BSc Non-Medical 3rd year won consolation prize in Rangoli competition. Dr. Gaganpreet Kaur. Assistant professor, Chemistry accompanied the students.

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਕੈਮਿਸਟਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਗੌਰਮਿੰਟ ਕਾਲਜ, ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਹੋਏ ਇੰਟਰ-ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਮਿਸਟਰੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਛੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਭਾ ਨਿਖਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ੀਅਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕੈਮਿਸਟਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ.ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਚਣ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੈਟਿਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ (ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਾਲ) ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।ਵਰਕਿੰਗ ਮਾਡਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੇਜਲੀਨਾ ਤੇ ਪਰਾਚੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ।
ਈਸ਼ਾ ਰਾਨੀ (ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ, ਨਾਨ-ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਭਾਗ ਤੀਜਾ) ਕਵਿਤਾ-ਉਚਾਰਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨੰਬਰ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ ਨਾਨ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਭਾਗ ਪਹਿਲਾ) ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ-ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸ਼ਿਤਿਜ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਹਲ ਦੁਬੈ (ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਾਲ) ਅਤੇ ਨੂਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ ਭਾਗ ਦੂਜਾ) ਨੇ ਕੁਇੱਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੁਸਕਾਨ ਗਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਪਨਾ ਗਰਗ (ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ ਨਾਨ- ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਭਾਗ ਤੀਜਾ ਨੇ ਰੰਗੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੌਸਲਾ-ਵਧਾਊ ਇਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਗਗਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਐਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
