Thirty Hours Certificate Course in Sanskrit organized at Modi College

A Thirty Hour Certificate Course in Sanskrit in the light of New Education Policy-2020 was organized at Multani Mal Modi College under the guidance of college Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar for the preservation and restoration of Sanskrit language in collaboration with Sanskrit Bharti Punjab State, Patiala, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi and Non-formal Sanskrit Training Centre, Patiala. Vinay Singh Rajput was the subject expert in this course.
College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar while addressing the students said that with globalization the world has become a global village in which it is important to learn multiple languages. He said that Sanskrit is not only the language of our Vedas but also the language of Indian Philosophy and culture.
In his lecture the expect speaker Vinay Singh Rajput explored the various techniques and methods to write, speak and listen Sanskrit in a convenient way. Forty students got registered for this course. All the eligible participants received the certificates at the completion of the course. Prof. Sham Sundar, Asst. Prof., GCG Patiala was also present at the inauguration of this course.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Neeraj Goyal, Head, Department of Business Management. Dr. Rupinder Sharma, Head, Department of Hindi conducted the stage.
