M M Modi College releases prospectus for 2017-18 session
M M Modi College, Patiala released its prospectus for the session 2017-18 here, today. Sh. K K Sharma, Chairman, PRTC and an alumnus of the college, presided over the function. Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the chief guest and appreciated the efforts of the entire team engaged in the publication of the prospectus. He also shared the vision of the Modi Education Society, Patiala to offer courses which match the contemporary needs of the society.
Chief Guest Sh. K K Sharma recalled the history of the college and praised its efforts for introducing new courses as well as maintaining the higher standard of education in the entire region of the Malwa. Vice Principal Prof. Nirmal Singh conducted the stage and presented the vote of thanks and said that the release of the Prospectus is the beginning of the new session which should be focused at providing an opportunity to all meritorious students to join this prestigious institution.
Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Dean, Publications gave brief introduction of the courses offered by the college and also talked about the contribution of Prof. Harmohan Sharma and Prof. Ganesh Sethi in designing and publication of the prospectus.
A memento was presented to the Chief Guest. Prof. Poonam Malhotra, Prof. Sharwan Kumar, Prof. Shailendra Kaur, Prof. V. P. Sharma and Dr. Ajit Kumar were also present on the occasion.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2017-18 ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ
ਅੱਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2017-18 ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇ. ਕੇ. ਸਰਮਾ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਪੀ.ਆਰ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ.ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਏ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਛਪਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ.ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ.ਨ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋ[ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਮੇਸ.ਾਂ ਸਮੇ[ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਵੇ[ ਕੋਰਸ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੇ. ਕੇ. ਸ.ਰਮਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ, ਜਦੋ[ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਨ, ਸਰੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋ[ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਉਂਚੇ ਮਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੋਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇ[ ਸੈਸ.ਨ ਦੀ ਸ.ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਡਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵੱਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖ.ਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਡੀਨ ਪਬਲਿਕੇਸ.ਨ, ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਚ ਪੜਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਹਰਮੋਹਨ ਸ.ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਗਣੇਸ. ਸੇਠੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਸਪੈਕਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਾਈਨ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਛਾਪਣ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪੂਨਮ ਮਲਹੋਤਰਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸ.ਰਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸ.ਲੈ[ਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵੀ. ਪੀ. ਸ.ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਅਜੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਰ ਸਨ।
