Food Cafeteria organized at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala
Students of M.Sc. Food and Nutrition organized the Food Cafeteria-2018 at the college premises. Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, inaugurated the event, which featured a variety of nutritious food. On the occasion he appreciated the efforts of faculty members for guiding the students of the Department of Food and Nutrition in preparing delicious and calorie conscious food items. He expressed his concern over lack of details on food labels regarding nutritional information on locally produced and packaged food items. He extolled the students to adopt healthy lifestyles and to spread awareness regarding false food myths with science based evidence.
All the faculty members of Department of Biological Sciences were present and congratulated the students on their efficient managerial and catering skills.
