Modi College Won Third Position in Patiala Heritage Quiz-2019
Students of M M Modi College, Patiala participated in Quiz Competition held at Thapar University, Patiala and secured third position. The quiz was organized by Cultural Department of Punjab Govt. in co-ordination with Indian Trust for Rural Heritage & Development on the occasion of 7th Patiala Heritage Festival-2019. Thirty Teams from different institutes participated in the Preliminary round and six teams qualified for the final. The quiz was conducted under the supervision of Smt Surabhi Malik, Chairperson, Improvement Trust, Patiala. The students of M. M. Modi College, Patiala Samar Singh Sohi (BA-II) and Bakshdeep Singh (BA-I) were placed at third position and won a cash Prize of Rs. 4000/-. First two positions were bagged by the teams of Thapar University, Patiala. Dr Khushvinder Kumar, Principal of the college congratulated the students and motivated them for further participation in such events. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr Baljinder Kaur (Dean, Co-curricular), Dr Ganesh Kumar Sethi and Dr Manish Sharma for dedicated efforts for guiding the students for the event.
