“Multani Mal Modi College Students Win Shere-Punjab Cricket Trophy as Members of Amritsar Surme Team”

Students of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, Raevanpreet Singh and Saksheya Khurana, secured the first position as members of the Amritsar Surme team in the Shere-Punjab Cricket Trophy, held at Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali, from August 30 to September 13, 2026.
Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal congratulated the winning students and expressed his pride in their outstanding achievement. He said, “Our College is proud to announce that our students have brought laurels to the institution by winning the Shere-Punjab Cricket Trophy. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. We appreciate the efforts of the Sports Faculty and our students for their discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.”
Flying Officer and Dean Sports, Dr. Sumeet Kumar, also congratulated the students and appreciated their remarkable performance. He said, “I congratulate Raevanpreet Singh and Saksheya Khurana on their outstanding performance in the Shere-Punjab Cricket Trophy. Their victory is a testament to their talent, hard work, and perseverance.”

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਰੇਵਨਪਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੇਯਾ ਖੁਰਾਨਾ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਰੇ-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟਰਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ !
ਇਹ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ 30 ਅਗਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ 13 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਬਿੰਦਰਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ, ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੇਰੇ-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ, ਸਮਰਪਣ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਖੇਡ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਸਮਰਪਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”
ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ, ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਰੇਵਨਪਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੇਯਾ ਖੁਰਾਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੇਰੇ-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ, ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ।”
ਡਾ. ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡੀਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਵਿਭਾਗ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਡ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਖੇਡ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਖੇਡ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ’ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ, ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਟੀਮ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
