Multani Mal Modi College Signed MoUs for International Programs

In a significant step towards strengthening professional education and enhancing career opportunities for commerce students, Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with QualityNZ to offer the globally recognized Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification alongside the BCom programme.
Under this collaboration, BCom students can pursue ACCA simultaneously with their degree. A major advantage of the programme is that students will receive exemptions in 6 ACCA papers, reducing the number of papers they need to clear to 7. While the ACCA qualification generally costs around ₹6.5 lakh when pursued independently, Modi College is facilitating the programme at an approximate cost of ₹2.5 lakh, making it significantly more affordable and accessible.
The college has also signed an MoU for the Institute of Management Accountants Certified Management Accountant (CMA) programme, enabling students to pursue CMA alongside their BCom degree. The CMA programme, which typically costs around ₹1.8 lakh when undertaken independently, is being offered through the college at an approximate cost of ₹1.2 lakh.
These initiatives reflect the college’s commitment to providing industry-oriented education and globally recognized professional qualifications. The programmes are expected to equip students with advanced accounting, finance, and management skills, thereby enhancing their employability and career prospects in India and abroad.

ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਿਆਂ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ QualityNZ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ (MoU) ਸਾਈਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ. ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਸਰਟੀਫਾਈਡ ਅਕਾਊਂਟੈਂਟਸ (ACCA) ਯੋਗਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਧੀਨ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ. ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ACCA ਕੋਰਸ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ACCA ਦੇ 6 ਪੇਪਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟ (Exemption) ਮਿਲੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 7 ਪੇਪਰ ਹੀ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ। ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ACCA ਕੋਰਸ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 6.5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਹ ਕੋਰਸ ਲਗਭਗ 2.5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਕਿਫ਼ਾਇਤੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਕਾਊਂਟੈਂਟਸ ਦੇ ਸਰਟੀਫਾਈਡ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਕਾਊਂਟੈਂਟ (CMA) ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਸਾਈਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ. ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ CMA ਕੋਰਸ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ CMA ਕੋਰਸ ਦਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਲਗਭਗ 1.8 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਹ ਕੋਰਸ ਲਗਭਗ 1.2 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਉਦਯੋਗ-ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਖਾ-ਜੋਖਾ (Accounting), ਵਿੱਤ (Finance) ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ (Management) ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਵਿੱਤ, ਅਕਾਊਂਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਇੱਛੁਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਉਠਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
