NCC Cadet Shubham Verma of Modi College Felicitated on achieving All India 12th Rank in AFCAT 2024 Course

Shubham Verma, a former NCC Cadet and student of Multani Mal Modi College has achieved the 12th rank in the AFCAT July 2024 Course, marking a proud moment for both the institution and the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Today Commanding Officer Col. Sandeep Roy, Adm Officer Col. Srinivasan of 5 Pb battalion and Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal and NCC ANOs Lt. Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, Lt. Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta and Flying Officer Dr. Sumeet Kumar of the college felicitated him on this achievement.
Commanding Officer Col. Sandeep Roy congratulated the cadet and said that his outstanding performance reflects his dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Col. Sandeep presided over the ANO Conference organized for 5 Pb BN NCC Patiala. He also interacted with ANOs regarding the training schedule of upcoming session. More than 35 ANOs of 5 Pb BN from different schools and colleges attended this ANO Conference.
College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal expressed immense pride in Shubham’s accomplishment, emphasizing the transformative power of education and the opportunities available to students at the Modi college.
ANO Lieutenant Dr. Rohit Sachdeva also congratulated Shubham Verma and said that his success story is an inspiration for those aspiring to become aviators and underscores the institution’s and NCC’s dedication to nurturing young cadets

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਕੈਡਿਟ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਏਅਰ ਫੋਰਸ ਕਾਮਨ ਐਡਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਰਸ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ 12ਵਾਂ ਰੈਂਕ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਕੰਮਾਡਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕਰਨਲ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਰੋਏ, ਐਡਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕਰਨਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨੀਵਾਸਨ, ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਏ.ਐਨ.ਓ. ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ, ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਨੀਧੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਡਿੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕਰਨਲ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਰੋਏ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ, ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਰਨਲ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਨੇ ਪੰਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਏ.ਐਨ.ਓ. ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸ਼ੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਟਾਲੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ 35 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਏ.ਐਨ.ਓ./ਸੀ.ਟੀ.ਓ. ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਤੇ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਲੈਂਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਏਅਰ ਫੋਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਫਸਰ ਬਣਨ ਦੇ ਚਾਹਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅਹਿਮ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਡਿਟ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖੇ ਗਏ ਸਬਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਹੀ ੳਸ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਮ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
