Amanpreet Singh of M. M. Modi College won Seven medals in 64th National Shooting Championship, New Delhi
Amanpreet Singh, a student of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala has won Seven Medals in ‘National Shooting Championship’ held at New Delhi from 17 November to 3 December, 2021. He won two gold medals in 25mm in Standard Pistol, Two Gold and One silver medal in 25mm Central fire Pistol and one Gold and one Silver in 25 mm sports Pistol competitions
Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated Amanpreet Singh for his extraordinary performance and said that Modi College is committed to providing best facilities and support to sport persons of the college.
He has now qualified for trials to the Indian Shooting Team.
Dr. Nishan Singh, Head, Sports Department also congratulated him and said that the college is proud of his achievement. Dr. Harneet Singh and Prof (Ms) Mandeep Kaur were also present in the event.

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ 17 ਨਵੰਬਰ, 2021 ਤੋਂ 3 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2021 ਤੱਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਹੋਈ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਤ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।ਉਸਨੇ ਇਸ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਰਵਾਏ 25 ਮਿਲੀਮੀਟਰ ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਦੋ, 25 ਮਿਲੀਮੀਟਰ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਫਾਇਰ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਲਵਰ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ 25 ਮਿਲੀਮੀਟਰ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੁੱਜਣ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵ-ਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋੜੀਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੱਤਪਰ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਡਾ.ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਹਰਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
