Flying Officer Dr. Sumeet Kumar of Multani Mal Modi College Patiala honoured on completing pre-commissioned training of NCC

Dr. Sumeet Kumar, Associate Professor from Computer Science Department of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala was honoured at the college after completing three months pre-commissioning course PRCN at Officer Training Academy, Kamptee and SDPC-49 which was held at Airforce Station at Tambaram, Tamil Nadu.
The college Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated Dr. Sumeet for being commissioned as Flying Officer. He praised him for his remarkable achievements and excellent performance during the training. He said the college is having NCC (Boys and Girls) Army Wing units and NCC Air Force Unit. He said it is a proud moment for the college that in November 2021, Lieutenant Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, ANO, NCC (Boys) – Army Wing and in August 2023, Lieutenant Dr. Nidhi Rani Gupta, ANO, NCC (Girls) – Army Wing received the title of lieutenant after completing this training. He said the NCC cadets will get motivated and the level of NCC will certainly achieve new heights in the college.
Flying Officer Dr. Sumeet Kumar shared his training experiences. He thanked college management and Principal for deputing him for this training. College Registrar Dr. Ashwani Sharma was also present on the occasion.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Sumeet Kumar was awarded exceptional grading during the training.
ਐਮ.ਐਮ.ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਿੰਗ ਟ੍ਰ਼ੇਨਿੰਗ ਕੋਰਸ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਸਣਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ: 18 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2023 ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਿੰਗ ਕੋਰਸ ਪੀ.ਆਰ.ਐਨ.ਸੀ. ਜੋ ਕਿ ਆਫ਼ਿਸਰ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ, ਕਾਂਪਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ.-49 ਜੋ ਕਿ ਏਅਰ ਫੋਰਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ, ਤਾਂਬਰਮ (ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ) ਵਿਖੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਸਣਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਿੰਗ ਕੋਰਸ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. (ਲੜਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ) – ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. (ਏਅਰ ਫੋਰਸ) ਦੇ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ (ਲੜਕਿਆਂ) ਦੇ ਏ.ਐਨ.ਓ. ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਸਤ, 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਏ.ਐਨ.ਓ. ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਆਰਮੀ ਵਿੰਗ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਮਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਉਪਲਬਧੀ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੈਡਿਟ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦਾ ਮਿਆਰ ਹੋਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਡਾ. ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਗ੍ਰੇਡਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
