Debate and Declamation Contest for Talent Hunt

A Debate and Declamation contest was held at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala under the dynamic guidance of the principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar. The competition was organized to provide a platform to students to showcase their oratory skills. Thirty – nine students took part in the competition and six were shortlisted who will be presenting their thought provoking views at the ‘Talent – Hunt Day’ function to be held on October 4, 2019. The topics for debate and declamation were

  • ‘Dwindling Public Interest, Crumbling Libraries,
  • ‘Global Warming’,
  • ‘A free Press Safeguards Democracy’,
  • ‘New National Educational Policy’
  • ‘Economic Crisis in India’.

The principal appreciated the efforts put in by the students and encouraged them to volunteer in such intellectual activities in future too. Dr. Baljinder Kaur, incharge of the committee, congratulated the participants. Dr. Bhanvi, Dr. Santosh Bala, Dr. Rupinder Singh, Dr. Rupinder Sharma, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and Prof. Poonam Dhiman were present on the occasion. Dr. Shikha and Prof. Harleen Kaur conducted the stage. Prof.  Shailendra Sidhu proposed a vote of thanks.
