Communication and media literacy society is focused at developing a pedagogy around critical thinking and deeper analysis and questioning of media texts and concepts. The fundamental objective of this society is to move beyond the traditional formats of written and print text and examining as well as creating more contemporary resources of information and awareness in the form of short films, documentaries, YouTube channels, podcasts and other visual-auditory mediums. This society provides a platform for students of mass media and communication to develop receptive media capability to analyze messages offers opportunities for them to broaden their experience of media and helps them develop generative media capability to increase creative skills in making their own media messages. They also engage with the identifications of different patterns of media representations and public-private programming along with functioning of various media industries .In last three years the students have actively participated and contributed in the form of generating audio-visual informational and educational resources.
