Students of Department of Commerce visited Kasauli and Chokhi Dhani
PG Department of Commerce, M. M. Modi College, Patiala organised a one-day educational trip to Kasauli (Himachal Pradesh), Pinjore and Chokhi Dhani (Haryana) under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and the supervision of Prof. Neena Sareen, Dean Commerce. A group of 95 students participated in this learning-based excursion. The students conducted survey on E-payment system at kausali and recorded responses from various shopkeepers. Students visited Money Point, Baptist Church, Mall Road and other significant places in Kasauli. At Chokhi Dhani, they felt the favour of Rajasthani Culture right from reception to relishing the Rajasthan Food. Students were exposed to live Rajasthani Culture through various stalls and exhibits. So, the students experienced Himachali and Rajasthani Culture by way of in basket learning. The analytical report of the survey is to be prepared and presented by the students in the coming days. Prof. Parminder Kaur, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Dr. Gaurav Gupta and other faculty members accompanied the students on this excursion.
